ASD NEST PROGRAM AT PS/MS 206
Added Mar 06, 2024 •
The Nest program serves students with autism in a classroom with general education students. The
class is a small Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) class, with one special education teacher and one
general education teacher. The co-teaching model (ICT) has been transformational for the school
community. Everyone benefits from the mixing. Academics remain rigorous but are now also more
layered as the entire community practices the value that every student is unique and receives the
services they need.
