Dear Families,

Today is an opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher, celebrate their progress, and discuss how we can support their continued growth together.

Today is a half day. All students will be dismissed at 11:30 AM. There will be no after-school programs. Please plan for your child’s dismissal.

Virtual Conference Sessions:

• Afternoon: 1:00–3:00 PM

• Evening: 4:30–7:00 PM

If you have not yet confirmed a conference time, please email your child’s teacher directly.

Questions to Ask During Your Conference

1. What are my child’s strengths? What is going well academically, socially, or creatively?

2. Is my child meeting grade-level expectations? How are they progressing in reading, writing, and math? Can you show me examples?

3. What area needs the most support? What specific skill should we focus on first?

4. How does my child participate in class? Do they stay engaged, ask for help, and share their ideas?

5. How is my child doing socially and emotionally? How do they connect with classmates and manage challenges?

6. What support is my child receiving, and is it helping? If my child has an IEP, how are they progressing toward their goals?

7. What can we do at home?What simple activity or routine would support their learning?

8. What are our next steps? What goal can we work toward together, and when should we check in again?

You do not need to ask every question—choose those most important to your family. Please also share what you notice at home. Your voice is an important part of your child’s success.

Estimadas familias:

Hoy tendrán la oportunidad de conversar con el maestro o la maestra de su hijo/a, celebrar sus avances y hablar sobre cómo podemos seguir apoyando su desarrollo juntos.

Hoy habrá medio día de clases. Todos los estudiantes saldrán a las 11:30 a. m. No habrá programas después de clases. Por favor, hagan los arreglos necesarios para la salida de su hijo/a.

Sesiones virtuales:

• Por la tarde: de 1:00 a 3:00 p. m.

• Al final de la tarde: de 4:30 a 7:00 p. m.

Si todavía no han confirmado una cita, envíen un correo electrónico directamente al maestro o a la maestra de su hijo/a.

Preguntas para Hacer Durante la Reunión

1. ¿Cuáles son las fortalezas de mi hijo/a? ¿En qué se destaca académica, social o creativamente?

2. ¿Está cumpliendo con las expectativas de su grado?¿Cómo está progresando en lectura, escritura y matemáticas? ¿Puede mostrarme ejemplos?

3. ¿En qué área necesita más apoyo? ¿Qué habilidad específica debemos trabajar primero?

4. ¿Cómo participa en clase?¿Se mantiene atento/a, pide ayuda y comparte sus ideas?

5. ¿Cómo está en lo social y emocional? ¿Cómo se relaciona con sus compañeros y afronta las dificultades?

6. ¿Qué apoyo está recibiendo y está dando resultados? Si tiene un Programa de Educación Individualizado (IEP), ¿cómo está avanzando hacia sus metas?

7. ¿Qué podemos hacer en casa? ¿Qué actividad o rutina sencilla ayudaría a reforzar su aprendizaje?

8. ¿Cuáles son los próximos pasos? ¿Qué meta podemos trabajar juntos y cuándo volveremos a conversar sobre su progreso?

No necesitan hacer todas las preguntas; elijan las más importantes para su familia. Compartan también lo que observan en casa. Su voz es una parte importante del éxito de su hijo/a.

Questions à Poser Pendant la Rencontre

1. Quels sont les points forts de mon enfant ? Dans quels domaines scolaires, sociaux ou créatifs réussit-il particulièrement bien ?

2. Mon enfant atteint-il les objectifs de son niveau scolaire ? Comment progresse-t-il en lecture, en écriture et en mathématiques ? Pouvez-vous me montrer des exemples ?

3. Dans quel domaine a-t-il le plus besoin de soutien ?Quelle compétence précise devrions-nous travailler en premier ?

4. Comment participe-t-il en classe ? Reste-t-il attentif, demande-t-il de l’aide et partage-t-il ses idées ?

5. Comment va-t-il sur le plan social et émotionnel ?Comment s’entend-il avec ses camarades et fait-il face aux difficultés ?

6. Quel soutien reçoit-il et est-il efficace ? S’il bénéficie d’un programme d’enseignement individualisé (IEP), comment progresse-t-il vers ses objectifs ?

7. Que pouvons-nous faire à la maison ? Quelle activité ou routine simple pourrait soutenir ses apprentissages ?

8. Quelles sont les prochaines étapes ? Quel objectif pouvons-nous travailler ensemble et quand ferons-nous un nouveau point ?

Vous n’avez pas besoin de poser toutes les questions : choisissez celles qui comptent le plus pour votre famille. Partagez aussi vos observations à la maison. Votre voix joue un rôle important dans la réussite de votre enfant.

غدًا سيكون يومًا دراسيًا قصيرًا «نصف يوم». سينصرف جميع الطلاب الساعة 11:30 صباحًا. ولن تُقام أي برامج بعد المدرسة.يرجى اتخاذ الترتيبات اللازمة لانصراف طفلكم.

3. ما المجال الذي يحتاج فيه إلى أكبر قدر من الدعم؟ ما المهارة المحددة التي ينبغي أن نركز عليها أولًا؟

4. كيف يشارك طفلي في الصف؟ هل يتابع الدرس، ويطلب المساعدة، ويشارك أفكاره؟

5. كيف حال طفلي اجتماعيًا وعاطفيًا؟كيف يتواصل مع زملائه ويتعامل مع التحديات؟

6. ما الدعم الذي يتلقاه طفلي، وهل يساعده؟ إذا كان لديه برنامج تعليم فردي (IEP)، فكيف يتقدم نحو تحقيق أهدافه؟

7. ماذا يمكننا أن نفعل في المنزل؟ ما النشاط أو الروتين البسيط الذي يمكن أن يدعم تعلمه؟
